More than just a place of prayer, the Masjid serves as a center for learning, guidance, and service to the broader community.
Rooted in Islamic principles and committed to excellence, Regina City Jamia Masjid provides a welcoming environment for individuals and families seeking spiritual growth and meaningful connection.
Our History
Regina City Jamia Masjid was established to serve the growing Muslim community in Regina with a dedicated place for worship, learning, and community connection. What began as a vision among a small group of committed community members gradually developed into a vibrant masjid that now serves individuals and families from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. In its early days, members of the community gathered in modest spaces for prayers and religious programs. Through unity, dedication, and sincere efforts, the foundation for Regina City Jamia Masjid was laid. With the support of generous donors and volunteers, the masjid expanded its services to include regular congregational prayers, Jumu’ah gatherings, Islamic education programs, and community initiatives. Over the years, the masjid has grown not only in size but also in impact. It has become a spiritual anchor for many, a place where children learn the Quran, youth develop leadership skills, families find support, and newcomers find belonging.
